The class size is small and inviting to make it feel like a home for the youngest children.It is a period of self-development, learning self-help skills, and preparation for the Primary program. Our program is designed to assist the child towards independence, social awareness, respect and the development of motor skills and language.

In many instances, this is the first experience the child has of being a member of his own "society." The child is encouraged to be a functioning member of this society, thus leading him to a feeling of pride and dignity. Waiting one's turn, sharing, and patience are important lessons that each child learns.

The Montessori teacher offers the tenderness, warmth and patience so essential at this age. An emphasis on the importance of a peaceful environment, along with the necessary nurturing and caring, are characteristics of this program.

The curriculum for toddlers includes Practical Life, Sensorial, Language, Math, Cultural disciplines plus the Virtue Program. In addition, we are joined by specialty teachers who lend their expertise in teaching the children Music, Spanish, Sign Language and Gardening.

 The children have access to a variety of large muscle activities that offer them opportunities to jump, climb, balance, crawl, and skip. These exercises as well as song, dance and creative art activities are offered to each child to choose. This freedom in a safe place is crucial to the toddler program. It is tempered, however, by two important limits that will be beneficial for a lifetime: respect for others and respect for the environment.

A 3% DISCOUNT IS GIVEN FOR TUITION PAID IN FULL FOR THE ENTIRE YEAR. TO RECEIVE DISCOUNT TUITION MUST BE PAID BY JUNE 1. (TUITION PAID IN FULL IS NON-REFUNDABLE) or FOR TUITION PAID IN 2 EQUAL PAYMENTS FOR THE ENTIRE YEAR. PAYMENTS DUE BY JUNE 1 AND DECEMBER 1. (TUITION PAID IS NON-REFUNDABLE)

Tuition can be paid in one payment for the entire year, 2 payments for the entire year, monthly, biweekly or weekly.
