Ms. Jennifer Benson :  Infant Teacher

Ms. Jennifer  received her Infant/Toddler Montessori Certification in June 2010 from the American Montessori Society (AMS).  She taught for three years at Salem Montessori.  She has been teaching at RVMS for over a year.   Ms. Jennifer has two children of her own.  She enjoys hiking and swimming.  She often gets asked "how do you teach an infant" and I say "I don't, I observe them and they teach me".

Ms. Diane Echols: Early Learner

Ms. Diane is a graduate of Salem High School and Virginia Western.  Ms. Diane has many years of experience working with young children.  She was the Lead Infant Teacher at Learning Links, Lead Teacher for school age children at Calvary Baptist, Lead Infant/Toddler teacher at Tomorrow's World, and  Lead Early Learner Teacher at Salem Montessori.  She has been working at RVMS for 1 year.  She is enrolled in 0-3 Montessori Training.   Ms. Diane considers herself a "workaholic", she enjoys what she does.  She also loves shopping in her spare time.



Ms. Michele Carroll:  Owner/Director/3-6 Teacher

Ms. Michele has been teaching in a Montessori classroom since 1999.   She has owned RVMS since 2002.  She has an Associates Degree in Accounting and Business Management.  She obtained her Montessori Certification in 2000 from the American Montessori Society.   She enjoys spending time with her two teenage sons and husband.  Together they enjoy traveling, music, outdoors and shopping.

Ms. Jennifer Juarez: 6-9 Teacher

Ms. Jennifer has been a teacher a RVMS for 3 years.  She is a student at Liberty University and obtaining her degree in International Business.  She also has her Montessori certification for ages 3-6 and 6-9.  She taught English for one year in Guatemala to under privileged children.  Ms. Jennifer enjoys reading, hiking, writing, traveling and volunteering in her spare time.  Her favorite quote from Maria Montessori is "The Montessori Teacher is constantly looking for a child who is not there yet".

Ms. Nicole Bowman:3-6 Teacher

Ms. Nicole has been a teacher at RVMS for two years.  She has her Montessori Certification in 3-6 years.  She is graduate of Hidden Valley High School.  She enjoys dinner with her fiance and spending time with her family.  She also enjoys working on her classroom and making creative new jobs for the children.
